Senior SAP BW/BI Developer Details: This project requires very high level communication skills; the consultant will need to communicate between teams and with users. Our client is looking for a SENIOR CONSULTANT that will take ownership of the projects and will use their expertise to ensure successful completion of each project. Although this is a developer role, our client is looking for top level consultants that can provide top level work. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate's responsibilities will include: Performing analysis and configuration in SAP BW 7.0 environment to facilitate various analytics solutions Working directly with business analysts, end users and project teams to develop new Business Intelligence functionality from specifications Converting complex requirements into an optimal design Coordinating testing, and performing change management/training Performing routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit testing Providing production support and administration of BW back-end operations as needed Monitoring, communicating and troubleshooting issues with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues Preparing project-related documentation (object designs, business rules, technical specs, etc.) throughout various stages of the project Adhering to BW best practices and standards Harvesting and sharing knowledge with team members Validating information generated within reports developed Participating in user acceptance testing (including scenario development), and documenting test results *HARRY WILSON | * IT Technical Recruiter *CAT Technology Inc.
