Status: Accepting Candidates Description: Java UI Flex with Loan/Mortgage experience (local only) Location: NYC Rate: open Software developer in support of Sales Data mart for a retail banking business. Must be strong in UI experience in Flex. The developer will be required to build and maintain applications and scripts on both Unix and Windows. The candidate needs to be a self starter capable of solving problems and developing technology projects from start to finish. This includes business analysis, design, coding and testing. Candidate will need to share ideas and discuss solutions with others, including off-site team members. As such, strong communication skills are also required. Candidate should expect to work in UI development, as well as other languages and technologies. Summit is the Private Bank wide reporting and monitoring tool. It provides tracking of lending applications, reporting on new deal production and management analytics of bank wide performance. At least 8+ years of proven software development experience Strong skills in, · Web front end development experience in Flex · Experience in Java and communicating with Java middle tier from Flex front end. · Excellent communication skills · Knowledge of relational databases · General knowledge and proficiency in a UNIX environment. · Banking or financial IT experience (with loan or mortgage systems) would be beneficial.
