*SAS Data warehouse Analyst* *6mths* *Arlington, VA* *$50/hr max* *Phone then F2F* *The manager would like to fill this position as soon as possible with local candidates.* * * *Note from the manager.* *Anyone with SAS experience in the banking sector * *Responsibilities:* · This is a 3 – 6 month contract position to begin immediately. · Quickly come up to speed on an existing SAS Data warehouse of consumer loans. Produce a thorough data dictionary for 20 tables and a data schema diagram for publication. · Once familiar with the existing data warehouse, assist with the permanent capture and storage of third party data. Propose and develop the new table structures and construct ETL code. · Implement automated quality control checks. Offer suggestions for improvement; including but not limited to enhancement to the structure, process, access, or views. * * * * *Minimum Professional and Technical Skills:* · 3+ years overall work experience, 2-4 years working with mortgage or consumer loan data · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Moderate SAS experience is a must ETL experience and data schedule experience is required * * * * *Minimum Education, Certification, Training:* Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Statistics, MIS or related field or equivalent experience * * * * *Additional Comments:* 1. Strong planning, organizational and follow up skills; Ability to multi-task and maintain composure; strong sense of urgency with the ability to execute quickly, timely and efficiently. 2. Demonstrated collaborative partnership skills with internal and external teams 3. Strong conceptual, analytical and business judgment with great detail orientation.
