Kindly find the job description as mentioned below and let me know your interest with your updated resume ASAP. *Position Role/Title: Telecom / Transport Engineer* *Position ID: 3859* *Duration: 12 Months +* *Location: San Diego, CA* *Job Description* · Transport Engineer with at least 5 years experience working on designing communication circuits. · Experience working with the following system technologies: fiber optic systems (Sonet OC-1 to OC-192), digital access cross-connect (DACS) system, DS1/DS3 multiplexer and channel bank equipment, digital microwave radio equipment and DS0/DS1 leased services. · Fiber Optic Systems: Sonet-based systems with a variety of bandwidth from OC-1 through OC192. Include optical networking and dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM). · DACS Systems: Grooming of DS0 circuit traffic, switching from one circuit to another in the event of a network failure, supporting automated provisioning, and other applications. Multiplexer / Channel Bank: Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) T1 multiplexing 24 DS0 circuit over a single T1. · DS3 multiplexer of 28 T1 circuits over fiber optic cable or coaxial copper cable. · Digital Microwave Systems: Digital microwave systems up to OC3 capacity. Various frequency band *Responsibilities:* · Makes operational and tactical decisions that can have million dollar per day ramifications (regulatory compliance and cost of downtime). · While engaged in projects, recommends technology and sourcing strategy to a project manager and senior or principal technologist. · Must be capable of passing comprehensive background screening for access to critical cyber assets. · Communication Circuit design over mulitple interconnected systems - Provide system design, optimization and implementation expertise in transport / transmission network and physical infrastructure. · Establish, define and interpret client business requirements leading to the design and implementation of a cost effective and integrated solution.
