Respond to : vincent.cole...@catstaffing-us.com Position : Oracle Developer Location : Greenville, SC (Remote Work) Duration : 6+ Months Contract *( they would like someone in SC,NC,GA who would work from home, but come into the Greenville, SC office occasionally. ) * This person must be able to take responsibility for designing and developing solutions for Oracle based applications. This is not a DBA position though some knowledge of DBA would be expected. The skills are to support development of .Net applications from the Oracle back end perspective. The candidate must be highly self-motivated to produce quality, detail oriented database objects and documentation, having experience in the full development lifecycles for Oracle development including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of deliverables. This candidate must have the ability to complete tasks with very minimal direct supervision and must be able to reverse engineer existing processes as needed. The Candidate must have experienced working with distributed teams. The candidates communication skills need to be highly developed and they need to be comfortable with driving communications with other team members so projects are completed and development delivered per the scheduled. The candidate must have experience with analyzing business requirements to identify gaps during design phase. They need skills and discipline using Microsoft Office products for documentation. They must be available to work with the team as needed to support the project assignments. *Required : *10 + years Development experience 6 + years of experience in Database Development Oracle 11g, 10g, 9i, *EDUCATION : *Minimum BS Computer Science or similar Computer degree *Communications : *Effective English verbal and written communication skill with individuals of varying technical abilities and professional backgrounds. *Strong skills in : *Oracle 11g, 10g, 9i, SQL and PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers Database Architecture Oracle Database Development Data Modeling SQL queries Oracle optimization techniques, performance tuning ETL development and Data Migration using native tools of Oracle (SQL LOADER, PL/SQL) Normalized Database Design and Modeling.(Logical and Physical design of database) TOAD. Experienced in Dynamic SQL, PL/SQL Collections and Exception handling.
