•Plans, architects, designs HA/Grid Informatica ETL environment for data
warehouse / integration.
•Install and configure Informatica server software in HA/Grid Environment.
•Setup and configure Informatica domains, services (repository,
Integration, Metadata manager, Data Analyzer, Data Integration, Model
Repository etc).
•Implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup and recover operations
for ETL environment.
•Report regularly on health and performance of ETL environment and jobs.
•Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting and debugging.
•Maintain ownership of release activities interacting with ETL projects.
•Perform CODE DEPLOYMENTS of ETL jobs across various ETL projects and
servers.
•Provide Application support to ETL application development teams.
•Establish projects, roles, users, privileges in different ETL environments
(DEV, QA, UAT & PROD).
•Provide 24/7 Support related to Administration tasks (Emergency
Deployments, FATAL ERRORS on the Informatica Server, unexpected Informatica
services failures, Repository issues etc)
•Record and maintain ETL software procedures.
•Perform independently with little direct supervision in administration of
ETL.
•Provide detailed analysis of problems and recommend solutions for the
unexpected behavior of the Informatica components.
