Strong C++ Skills 2. Ability to program on a Linux Platform 3. Heavy coding and must be very comfortable programming 4. Writing Software Protocol using TCP/IP NOTE – They are NOT looking for Embedded Engineers and they do not want C++ Windows; this is an application level programmer Qualifications: Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience Experience: · Very strong background in design and implementation of complex systems. · Expertise with C++ programming and object-oriented design and development. · Strong experience with Inter Process communications. · Strong Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, sockets, VOIP etc. · Very good knowledge of Design Patterns. · Strong Knowledge of Linux or a POSIX O/S environment. · Good Experience with shell scripting. · Knowledge of Satellite communication is a plus. · Knowledge of Cryptographic concepts (Symmetric Key, Assymetric Key, IPsec, TLS) is a plus. · Understanding of IP routing is a plus. Professional Qualities: · Must be able to work in a fast paced development environment. · Must be able to analyze and solve technical problems. Personal Qualities: · Must have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated. · Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner. · Must be able to communicate (oral/written) effectively.
