Title : ETL Informatica Developer
Location : Portland Maine
Duration : 11 months
Ideal Start date: Feb 15

Key Responsibilities:
Perform Core Informatica Development tasks utilizing PowerCenter 8.6 or
later
Build Informatica workflows and mappings following strict naming and coding
standards.
Work with existing functionality for Unix automation, status and reporting
runtime functionality, ensuring satisfactory response time with reliable
database connectivity/and or system command interfaces.
Involvement and contribution to complex Schedules (like Control M) , set
priorities and implement action plans.
Implement best practices on new Informatica implementations with cross
environmental considerations (dev-qa-prod).
Knowledge of Informatica CDC [change data capture] utility.
Have a comprehensive knowledge of Informatica design and build techniques
for high-performance loads, rerun.
Have direct experience in the build or design and build of Slowly changing
Dimensions, build of fact extracts, lookups, joins and transformation logic
including but not limited to numeric conversion, string manipulation,
persistent variables, etc.
Understand dynamic and static memory allocation with regards to lookups and
join functionality, and how to best apply it to high performance
processing.
Requirements:

Requirements
Informatica Certified preferred
Experience working on a Fortune 500 Data Warehouse
Bachelor's Degree or equiv.
Informatica experience (5-7 years)
Proficient in SQL
Must have 3+ years� experience in DB2
Knowledgeable of data warehouse design, automation and Implementation at an
Enterprise level, specifically with regards to SCD (slowly changing
dimensions).
Must have experience using CRC (Cyclic redundancy checks) for delta
processing in Informatica.
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
