The team needs you to work on the backend tool that manipulates the GUI application. You will need to be comfortable working with lots of rules and interact with the GUI on the front and backend. This is an enterprise level internal system that requires significant Flex expertise. You will need to be able to work independently, and also contribute new ideas to the team.
