Job Title:Java/J2EE Developer Location:Chicago,IL Duration:6+months *// Need Local Face to Face Needed // * Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Java/J2EE Developer. This individual is responsible for the new development and support of major web based application that is critical to client’s global business. •Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Java/J2EE technologies. • Work closely with BA and QA team members to understand requirements and design and ensure system meets business and technical objectives. • Able to research issues independently and solve problems. • Able to balance work priorities for support with development project needs. • Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products. • Take lead on providing technical solutions that ensure applications meet or exceed extremely high performance and availability service level agreements. • Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications. • Work with business clients, business IT personnel and development staff to avoid communication gap and ensure customer / client satisfaction. • Follow Change Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance processes to ensure full compliance with Development Lifecycle process and standards. • Experience working with RF technologies and/or warehousing systems is a plus. Education: BA or BS in a related field (CS, EE, MIS, Business Administration) or equivalent experience required. Work Experience: • At least 5 years experience in a full life cycle application development environment. • 5+ years of J2EE application development experience including the following technologies EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, XML, XSLT and AJAX • Experience with JSF V 2.1 Required - this is a MUST • 3+ years of experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) • 3+ years of experience in Web Services development using standards like SOAP, REST, WS-Security, WSDL, JAX-RPC, ESB, Service Registry, etc. • 2+ years of experience with application performance testing/tuning and continuous integration tools such as ANT, Maven, JUnit, SVN. • Must have prior hands-on experience using eclipse based development tools. • Experience with object oriented analysis and design including, database modeling, use cases realization, UML, and HTML. • Experience with WebSphere Application Server is preferred but not required • Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX variants, Z a plus. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
