*MS SQL Custom Applications Reporting Lead - Insurance experience is a must*

Should have Insurance domain knowledge including *bureau reporting (ISO,
statutory) experience* and expertise in terms of basic understanding of the
processes and insurance data

Proficient at MS SQL Server development and ETL

10+ years of development and management experience, Should be able to
manage and drive a small but bright team of consultants which comprises of
SQL Server developers in an onsite-offshore model; should have good people
handling skills including how to handle senior in a highly dynamic team
environment

Should be able to create operational processes to reduce dependency on a
few individuals, streamlining and optimization

Should be able to understand reconciliation systems and drive monthly,
quarterly, yearly closures

Production support environment knowledge

Experience working in an onsite-offshore model with multiple stakeholder
and team management





*Position # 2:*

*Concur Administrator – Insurance experience is must*

*Experience: Concur T&L & AP modules’ administrator*

6-8 years of strong experience in the support, testing and implementation
of Concur T&E and Concur AP modules – primary skill set

Experience with supporting and testing Pay Pilot, Check scribe and other
payment and check printing applications would be an added advantage as a
secondary skill set

Self-starter, problem solver, action oriented with a sense of urgency in
resolving issues and escalating roadblocks

Good written and oral communication skills





*Position # 3:*

*Application Support Lead: (Hands-on Sr. Project Manager Level) – Insurance
experience is must*

Manage a group of consultants

Should have expertise on Oracle EBS. Nice to have Sun and Hyperion
experience, understanding and writing basic SQL queries

Familiarity with Insurance Domain will be a big Plus, however, knowledge of
finance back office systems in financial services in a Oracle EBS &
Hyperion environment is a must

Should be able to drive a managed services type engagement and application
support

Ability to manage tickets and metric reporting

Should be able to identify and drive process improvement initiatives,
knowledge of lean/Six sigma desirable

Create status reports & champion documentation of processes

Should be able to create training strategies for her/ his team members

Should have extensive experience of working and managing global production
support environments in a structured environment and onsite-offshore model

Ability to understand finance back office operations and manage testing of
systems

Ability to work with multiple lines of businesses and distributed teams

P&C Insurance experience is highly preferred but not mandatory





*Position # 4:*

*Financial Systems Data Management Lead: (Sr. Project Manager level) – P&C
Insurance experience is a must*

Financial Systems Data Management lead, this position plans and directs the
Finance Data Management (FDM) group, with oversight for the strategic
direction of finance data governance as well as the tactical execution of
data quality management.  The scope of this function is global, including
all data flowing into and out of the Finance systems architecture.  Key to
the role is working with business and Finance leaders across operating
segments and geographies to increase the company’s capabilities in
effectively managing data as an asset.



*KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: *

Finance data governance activities, including the identification of Finance
data needs and the development/implementation of the Finance data strategy

Identify opportunities for data quality improvement and help resolve data
quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and
correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies

Develop the Data Analysts, in particular their ability to evaluate and
bring to closure to a wide range of data issues impacting Finance

Monthly close responsibilities of the group, ensuring that all deliverables
and protocols are successful completed on a timely and accurate basis

Develop and implement finance data controls, policies, standards, and
procedures, holding periodic review sessions with U.S. and non-U.S.
Controllership departments for new or changed policies

Prepare and deliver communications to multiple stakeholders related to the
implementation and execution of the Finance data strategy and data quality
metrics

Documentation and maintenance of finance reference data, and hold periodic
change control meetings to review changes to the finance reference data,
including the maintenance of finance reporting hierarchies, including U.S.
GAAP, U.S. Statutory, and other internal and external reporting hierarchies

Provide financial and technical expertise related to system implementations
affecting Finance systems

Advocate and promote Data Quality Awareness throughout the company

*REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: *

Total 10+ years of experience and 5 or more years’ experience in a Global
Insurance/Reinsurance company with a Finance/Actuarial or data
management/reporting background

Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to meeting daily, weekly
and monthly deadlines

Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, and tools of data
management such as data dictionaries, data warehousing, data mining and
data standardization processes

B.A./B.S. (preferably in Computer Science, Business or Info Management)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary dynamic team environment

Strong knowledge of Insurance and Reinsurance business data and related
Finance (US and European GAAP and Stat) reporting



*OTHER DESIRED SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS:*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint)

Proficiency in Database tools (SQL/Access)

Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to direct the work of subordinate employees

Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends as
necessary to avoid disruption of normal business activities

Ability to work independently with little to no direction

Team player with a positive attitude

Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Architecture is
desirable





*Additional points for the Finance Data Management Lead:*

Individual should have a finance and accounting background

Most likely they will need to have worked in a finance department before

Resume will have statements like “evaluation of financial results”, GAAP
and statutory reporting

It is not unheard of that a systems BA/PM can transition to this role, but
it is usually after working with a finance group for a long time
