Position: *QA Manager* Duration: 3m + Location: Houston, TX Rate: $50ph *Required: * - Defines QA strategy and leads the quality assurance processes for strategic projects, including system upgrades. Report to management and executive sponsors periodically on progress and status. - Define process and procedure with project plans, project statuses, and new project submissions. - Define software quality assurance standards for all systems across multiple platforms; Ensure review process is performed and review results of compliance reviews. - Implement QA tools and automated testing tools (automated regression testing and performance testing). Responsible for establishing business unit standards for software quality assurance for all company systems and interfaces across multiple operating platforms. Responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining systems and processes to assure that software meets or exceeds established business unit standards and end user requirements prior to being implemented in a production environment. Identifies and reports on risks associated with quality assurance efforts to ensure that risks are communicated and mitigated. Responsible for Demand Management and Project office governance. Selects, develops and promotes tools and supporting processes to enable and/ or increase the efficiency of systems testing.
