*Please find the below requirement.* * * *Position: Software Engineer (Remote)* *Duration: 5+ months (contract to perm)* *W2 only* *Remote Position* *Job Description* - This individual develops and implements software in support of a complex multi-platform application that provides world class Service Supply Chain services to leaders in computer hardware and services. - This is a dynamic, 24x7 global application suite that includes not only the client applications but Rosetta Net B2B interfaces to external customers and service providers. - Service Supply Chain applications support the client’s revenue generation through Outsource contracts, thereby reducing customer cost while enhancing functionality and performance. - This person is responsible for system design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions for the Service Supply Chain application portfolio. - This person will work closely with various functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into optimized, highly available, high performing solutions. - This position performs all phases of software development life cycle, resolution of issues with existing systems, including maintenance and deep support. *Roles and Responsibilities:* - Work effectively with architects, leads, internal business and technical stakeholders including ability to present technical solutions while showing a strong understanding of business activities and objectives. - Develop high level and detailed designs for application integration. - Develop, customize and/or configure software and the environment for implementation. - Create system documentation and conduct training for support and deployment engineers when applicable. - Develop system test plans and test cases. - Provide deep level technical support for the software developed. - Release management. - Maintain knowledgebase and knowledge of deployed environments; owns release management. - Complete all assigned activities within schedule.
