The individual should have previous experience with all aspects of designing/implementing Exadata solutions. Will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be able to work independently and in a team environment. The following job requirements include but not limited to the following: Advise and provide guidance on migrating existing Oracle databases into Exadata Knowledge of different Oracle database migration paths into Exadata Experience in migrating large Oracle databases (OLTP and Data Warehouse) into Exadata Advise and provide guidance on Oracle RAC technology Configure machines to meet internal security requirements Experience in installing and configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Provide advise and guidance on leveraging OEM12c as a solution for centralized and proactive maintenance Software and firmware maintenance of Database Server Machines, including upgrades and patching Software and firmware maintenance of Exadata Storage Cells, including upgrades and patching Software and firmware maintenance of InfiBand switches, including upgrades and patching Provide and implement performance and tuning recommendations of all components in the Database Machines The location is open, not an issue. It could be in the Jacksonville, FL office where the customer is and the rest can be off site.
