Role: Senior .Net Web Developer Location: San Mateo, CA Duration: 3 months+ (Extensions possible) Interview: 1) Phone 2) Go to Meeting 3) In Person (Required for ALL candidates even those that are non-local) Job Description : Ø Extensive experience in web development using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC with experience developing scalable public facing internet web applications Ø 2)Proficiency with client-side scripting including: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and jQuery along with SQL Server experience Ø Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment Responsibilities : Ø Lead the complete software development lifecycle by working with business owners to gather requirements, preparing functional specifications, forming project plans, and communicating progress throughout the project Ø Develop and test high-quality software in a team environment. Software will be expected to be on a continuous integration system with a focus on elegant interfaces Ø Migrate/redesign legacy UI components (ASP based) to new generation UI using .Net platform Ø Work with a team on multiple projects throughout full lifecycle, interacting with business owners, designers, developers, technical operational teams, QA and support Ø Write and maintain software documentation Ø Assist in the development of training material for end user under the supervision of technical writer Requirements Ø 8+ years of experience in software development including 5+ years' experience in developing web applications in Microsoft ASP.NET with C#/.NET application framework Ø 2+ years of experience with Microsoft ASP.NET MVC framework Ø Expertise in JavaScript and JavaScript libraries like jQuery Ø Experience building AJAX-driven web functionality Ø Experience in developing enterprise level web applications (ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, MVC), web services (REST, SOAP) Ø Expert in object-oriented paradigm, including working knowledge of core libraries, design patterns, object to relational mapping Education Ø BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience Thanks.
