*Oracle Warehouse Builder* *Location: Worchester MA* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Sr ETL developer with good exp in OWB, Oracle.* Good interpersonal skills and healthcare knowledge is advantage *SUMMARY:* We are looking for an ETL Developer with a skill set of OWB who also has extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Concepts and Data Modeling. Someone who will be a thought leader and help us implement robust, highly tuned ETL packages This technical position will be responsible for development and on-going support of an enterprise data warehouse, data marts and supporting systems/applications. This individual will be part of a team which will be responsible for using business and technical requirements and architecting solutions based on what is needed from a delivery standpoint. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* • Interacted with the Business Systems Analysts, users and business leads to understand Business needs. • Understand the source data components and how they integrate with each other and existing EDW structures • Review and approve the technical specifications provided by the Business Systems Analysts. • Designing and implementing ETL architectures based on the business, data and functional requirement. • Deliver the ETL high level design document for program and development team to review. • Deployment and integration testing of developed components in Development and Test environments. • Support QA (resolve issues and release fixes) UAT and production support when required. • Develop, Maintain and Document OWB Packages and Solutions. • Partner directly with other ETL developers, data architects, clients, other technical data warehouse team members and database administrators to design and develop high performing ETL and maintain consistent development functions. • Ensure solution designs address performance requirements, reusability, availability, integrity, security challenges, and business functional requirements. • Develop and maintain PL/SQL code (stored procedure, functions, etc…) as needed. • Converted PL/SQL logic used currently into OWB Packages and Solutions. • Performance tuned OWB Packages and Solutions to improve the overall execution time. • Provide estimates of work to be done. • And all other duties assigned by the manager and/or supervisor. *REQUIRED* • Expert with Data Warehouse Concepts, Methodologies and SDLC. • Expert hands-on experience to design and implement BI/ETL architecture solutions according to OWB best practices • Experience in DW/BI with a skill set of OWB with good understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts and Data Modeling • Experience working with Oracle database • Experience working in data management, configuration and source code control (TFS) • Experience in working with multiple source/target systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, XML files, various types of flat files, MS access/excel documents. • Experience in working with WINDOWS based systems and their scripting languages such as batch scripts • Complete understanding around OWB framework, administration, maintenance and configuration skills • Experience in understanding and reverse engineering codes written for other platform such as Oracle/PlSql • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects at one time • Customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with providers, third party payers, physicians, and staff from all departments within and outside the Company • Analytical and interpretation skills including departmental, utilization, financial and operations data • Decision-making skills with the ability to investigate and weigh alternatives and select the course of action that provides the greatest benefit to the organization • Creative thinking skills with the ability to ask the needed bigger-picture questions that lead to process and team improvements • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule daily activities for the most efficient use of time • Problem solving skills with the ability to look for root causes and implementable, workable solutions • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and participate as an independent contributor with little supervision or as an active team member depending on the situation and needs • Must have a track record of producing work that is highly accurate, demonstrates attention to detail, and reflects well on the organization *PLUS* • Experience in working with various OWB add-ons such as task factory and BiXpress • Experience in working with UNIX based systems and their scripting languages such as shell scripts • Experience in Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements • Experience with Oracle Warehouse Builder • Experience with SAP Business Objects ecosystem (Universe, Webi, Crystal Reports, Dashboards) or other BI tools. • Experience in the health care and health insurance industry • Experience with reporting analysis, source data element analysis and business process analysis in a data warehouse environment • Experience in architecting to design and create data marts from various heterogeneous data sources • Experience in working with the architect team for BI DW data modeling and provided input. • Work with enterprise data warehouse team to create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouse and data marts
