The QA Analyst is an intermediate level position. Under general supervision, assists in the creation, preparation, and implementation of systems quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of basic to moderately complex test plans, test scenarios and test cases/test sets. Interacts with users to share information and clarify instructions. Works with more experienced analysts to assist in test strategy and test plan development. Creates basic to moderately complex test plans, test cases/test sets and test scripts using templates and guidelines. Performs basic to moderately complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation and communicates testing results. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of the Systems QA process. May provide guidance to less experienced analysts or specialists.
