to deal with the pressures of the client team. as well as strong Teradata Data
Modeling skills.
Requirements:
Ø Experience with Teradata physical database modeling including Erwin and
semantic layer modeling
Ø Physical database design experience including index selection and PPI
Ø Extensive performance tuning experience
Ø Advanced SQL knowledge

Skills List:
TD SQL - required
Ø Have a comfort level with writing native TD SQL (not a tool dependent
developer)
- required and an absolute must have
Ø Unix shell scripting - ability to write shell scripts that call TD utilities
for processing as well as manipulate files - required
Ø Hands-On Experience writing, debugging SQL for TD load utilities - required
Ø Hands-On Experience developing/creating TD DDL - tables, multi-table views,
denormalization, index selection, etc. - required
Ø Hands-On Experience writing, debugging TD macros, stored procedures -
required
Other
Ø Needs to be a strong self-starter who can jump right in and operate on their
own.
Ø Must be able to be client facing and able to very comfortably communicate
with the client and the client's internal business customer.
Ø Needs to be Atlanta based as this is a M-F onsite role
