The administrator is required to have strong knowledge on software performance to troubleshoot issues. The administrator also would be required to upgrade, configure, install, tune, monitor, mentor, lead and participate in subject matter projects. * Responsibilities:* * Maintain and manage critical core business SAN storage units and switches within the organization. * Configure, maintain, monitor and enhance storage activities in coordination with different team members or groups within the organization * Generate scripts to perform system administration activities * Provide support for on-call duties * Requirements* * Must have IBM 8800 Series SAN storage experience * Hitachi experience is a plus * Knowledge of other UNIX (particularly AIX 6.1+, RHEL 4.x, 5.x, 6.x) and Vmware 4.x /5.x is a plus. * Must be able to script in Shell, KornShell, Perl C++ or like languages * Must be proficient with diagnostics tools for the SAN storage and servers * Must have understanding on PCI compliancy *Ideal Experience:* * 5+ years managing and maintaining SAN storage units and fibre switches * 7+ years architecture, design and enhancements * 5+ years creating and maintaining associated server and application projects from start to end * 5+ years in maintaining and managing Tivoli Storage Manager or other backup methodologies such as Snap or replication * 7+ years in SAN storage performance analysis and monitoring within the server and application activities -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
