Oracle Developer w/ ETL Location: Houston, TX Length: 9 months Start: ASAP Interview: phone Job Description : · They need an Oracle ETL Developer to help support & maintain a 7 terabyte data warehouse that holds the majority of the master data for their SAP ERP system. · We are looking for a strong Oracle PL/SQL developer who has extensive experience extracting targeted data, transforming it to fit operational needs, and loading it into the data warehouse. · The ideal candidate should have strong Oracle knowledge for 10g/11g, experience with SQL and PL/SQL tuning is required. · The candidate needs to be totally self-motivated and shows the ability to complete the task with minimum supervision and help. · The candidate needs to have strong communication skills and ability to lead one or two offshore resource to finish multiple tasks in the same period of time. Responsibilities include: * Archive database tech design & build * Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) design, build, test * Review, clarify, document, design * Assist offshore development team in build activities * Define & document unit and assembly test cases * Assist with testing the solution and defect management * Assist with development reports pulling from the new archive db. Experience: * At least 8 years of Oracle experience * Expert PL/SQL programmer * Experience with ETL a plus * Linux/Unix experience, including scripting, a plus * Data modeling experience required, including use of data modeling tools * Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL tuning skills and trouble shooting skills. * Must be able to work in a team environment * Experience with project work required * Familiarity with data warehousing and underlying concepts Thanks.
