Role : Java Architect/ Lead
Location : Columbus, OH
Duration : 3 month
Job Description :
Ø Client is located in Columbus, Ohio but selected candidate might be allowed
to work remotely provided they can do some travel to the client site as needed.
Ø We are seeking a Java Architect/Technical Lead for an immediate project
assignment with our client.
Ø This is a migration project and the primary responsibility for this person
will be analysis and design to create the migration and conversion plans but
they must have hands-on experience with the technical tools.
Ø There is a particular and inflexible requirement for clustering experience.
Ø Financial experience is also a requirement.
They are seeking an individual with the following expertise:
Ø Expert Java and J2EE programming skills a must
Ø Extensive experience with web technologies - including HTML, XHTML, JSP,
Servlets, AJAX, JSON, and JavaScript
Ø Experience with Spring and Struts framework a must; Desirable to have Struts
to Spring conversion experience
Ø Experience with Hibernate, EJBs, velocity, iBatis and JSTL required
Ø Knowledge developing Web Services, JAXB, WSDL, SOAP - XML
Ø Must have hands on development experience with RDBMS, particularly Oracle,
including writing complex SQL queries, views, functions and stored procedure.
Good to have understanding of SQL tuning.
Ø Experience working on WebSphere and Tomcat environments
Ø Upgrade/Re-engineering/Refactoring skills are desired
Ø Solid understanding of N-Tier architecture, Tomcat/WebSphere administration,
deployment and clustering concepts
Ø Understanding of Unix/Linux Operating System
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Sound Analytical Skills
Ø There will be some travel required for this project but a remote work
arrangement
would be possible.
