*Title: QA Manager*

*Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 6 month project*


*Principal Duties and Responsibilities: *Perform QA leadership activities
for multiple projects and tasks assigned to onshore and offshore resources
Identify, train, mentor and retain QA resources
Manage day to day tasks of offshore QA resources in development and
execution of QA test plans and cases
Compile, analyze, review and approve test cases and execution
Facilitate the execution of the test cases across groups of testers in
multiple functional areas
Report QA status of projects to project leadership and management regularly
Own the identification and communication of any issues or risks related to
projects
Enforce established processes for QA such as test case documentation, test
case execution and organization, QA status, etc.
Recommend areas of improvement
Evaluate, recommend and implement automated test tools and strategies
Provide regular progress reports across multiple resources and projects

*Required Skills:*
* 6 or more yrs. experience working on IT QA processes
* At least 3 recent yrs. exp. in a Project Manager capacity.
* Able to work with test cases and the execution of them.
* Prior and preferably really recent exp. with onshore & offshore teams.
* Finance/Financial or Insurance exp. is a big +.
