*Senior ETL(Informatica) Developer*

*Description:*

Our client needs a Senior ETL (Informatica) Developers at their Lake
Oswego, OR, office. As an ETL developer, you will be a member of a
technical development team to build and support complex applications using
Informatica.



The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing,
implementing and supporting applications at the direction of the Program
Lead. The candidate will work closely with an ETL Lead for process and
architecture support.



*Responsibilities:*



  *   Coding, testing, modifying, debugging, documenting, implementation
and deployment of software using the Informatica tool

  *   Review and Analyze functional requirements, mapping documents, assist
in problem solving and trouble shooting

  *   Work with different application groups and deliver effective solutions

  *   Assist in technical specifications and other deliverable documents

  *   Develop and execute test plans and cases at the unit testing level.
Support System testing as necessary

  *   Production support and maintenance of applications through warranty
phase

  *   Performance Tuning of Informatica Mappings, processes and load
routines

  *   Informatica skills with 2+ years of experience is critical. They need
staff that are completely familiar with the product and whom have
significant experience with the product. It is critical that the candidate
be capable with the feature set of the tool. This is critical.

  *   Data warehousing skills are not critical. This is a file ETL project
and DW experience is not a critical component.



 *Qualifications:*



  *   Work with multiple teams and report to technical leads

  *   Able to work in multiple tracks simultaneously

  *   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study

  *   8 + years of experience working with large scale applications

  *   5 + years of experience with Informatica tool set with good working
experience in Informatica 861+

  *   Informatica skills with 2+ years of experience is critical. They need
staff that are completely familiar with the product and whom have
significant experience with the product. It is critical that the candidate
be capable with the feature set of the tool. This is critical to qualify in
the interview - I recommend that you challenge the candidate at the outset
that this is the main skill and then cover this area as much as possible.

  *   Data warehousing skills are not critical. This is a file ETL project
and DW experience is not a critical component.

  *   Everything on the resume will be evaluated in reviews. It is better
to have weak areas removed then to make the experience seem broader than it
actually is.

  *   Must have sound experience using databases such as Oracle and SQL

  *   Data Warehouse / ETL design and development methodologies knowledge
and experience is required

  *   Informatica, SQL, UNIX and Shell Scripting experience is a must. Ab
Initio Preferred

  *   Broad-based cross-functional IT experience in application development
and interface design is essential

  *   Must be able to interpret the transformation rules and develop the
software components to support the same

  *   Excellent Analysis and problem solving skills

  *   Must work well in a collaborative, team environment as well as
independently

  *   Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  *   Healthcare domain knowledge will be an added advantage

  *   Knowledge of Membership and Claims Systems a plus and will have
preference
