Call Center exp is mandatory, try to find Avaya or Genesys Exp in resumes,



Domain Experience: Telecom (Fulfillment and Assure); Contact Center (will
be a big plus, even if basic knowledge of how contact center operates
should be enough)



Experience in Testing Phases: Functional testing , System testing ,
Regression testing , Sanity testing , PIV - Post Implementation Validation
testing



Experience in Testing Types:

Manual Testing

Middleware testing (6 months), Performance testing(3months)

Automated Testing (QTP / Selenium) will be a big plus



Experience in Testing Tools: HP QC , ALM , SOAP UI Pro, HP Load runner



Experience in Testing of Software: Salesforce (SFDC) CRM, Clarify (CRM),
Met-solve, Remedy, Customized web service based applications, COTS
Products, Seibel (CRM tool) - basically Testing experience on any CRM
integration will do, SFDC will be a big plus as it is used in Apollo



Operating Systems: Windows, Unix





Role and Responsibilities:

?       Understanding the architecture, functionalities and requirements

?       Test script preparation from BRs, FRs and TRs.  (Business,
Functional and Technical Requirements)

?       Test Case Execution which includes Functional testing, Regression
testing and sanity testing

?       Logging and chasing defects  and taking them to closure

?       Ability to interact with Designers and Developers for handling
issues during test execution

?       Ability to clearly communicate the errors faced while testing with
supporting documents, screenshots, logs

?       Good analytical and communication skills

?       Aware of testing methodologies and processes
