Linux / Hypervisor Systems Administration with the following skills:
o Performing operating system installations
o Troubleshooting system software or application problems
o Red Hat and VMware experience is strongly preferred
o Experience with using Linux and VMware in a production
environment, not just using it at home.
Shell / Perl scripting experience (or ruby or python)
o Ability to read and modify existing scripts
o Creation of new scripts
Networking experience with the following skills:
o Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and other
internet protocols
o Experience with host based firewalls such as ipfilter / ipchains
o Awareness of general security principles for devices placed on the
Internet
Other Required Miscellaneous Skills:
o Knowledgeable in LDAP
o Excellent at troubleshooting and analyzing problems
Extra Credit (items that would make candidate especially attractive)
o Strong LDAP skills
o Strong scripting skills
o Strong Nagios skills
o F5 load balancing
