This data is used throughout the company and the products lifecycle, from the very beginning, to validate that units being built are fully tested and of high quality before leaving the factory, all of the way through to warranty support for customers. - We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Quality Analyst with a proven track record of data quality projects and initiatives. The purpose of this role is to ensure the highest quality of data - This individual will identify data quality issues, investigate issues identified by others, research and implement solutions to correct problems (at the source where possible), design code to correct historical data, develop alarm reports and monitoring programs, and execute data quality initiatives. - The ideal candidate will be someone who "loves" data with a strong mix of business skills, technical skills and communication skills. - Must have strong Unix skills in searching within many large files to look for data patterns or update data. Must also be able to create Unix Scripts to enable a report of KPI’s and Anomalies. Requirements: - Strong experience (5+ years) with Data Quality initiatives (data profiling, improvement, accuracy, completeness, data integrity, data stewardship, and data governance). - Very strong (5+ years) SQL experience writing queries within a large-scale database environment, preferably Oracle - Strong (3+ years) Unix experience (shell scripting, grep, find, etc..) - Ability to investigate anomalies and proactively problem solve - Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice - Some international travel required (2-4 times per year) Please help me capture your matching qualifications by answering my questions below: How many yrs of professional exp do you have?
