Client is hiring gifted and passionate technologists! We are in the midst
of a complete redo of our architecture platform on our global SaaS and
Ecommerce platform. It is among the largest and most complex initiatives
the company has ever set out to do and we want the best and brightest!
As a member of the development team for a leading, large-scale E-Commerce
web application you will design, code, and unit test new features and
modifications. You will implement projects in a timely manner, in
conformance with coding standards and in compliance with defined
specifications. A key function of this role is to communicate effectively
with people in a distributed work environment, including flushing out
loosely defined requirements.
What we would like to see most of all is someone with the right attitude
and the aptitude to learn. What ideally would intrigue us is the following:
· 7+ years software development experience
· 5+ years programming experience in Java
· 5+ years object oriented analysis and design
· 3+ years SQL experience
· 3+ years developing in a Unix / Sun OS / Linux environment
· 2+ year experience Spring or other presentation tier technology
· 2+ year experience with RESTful services would be great, but not
required
Knowledge and skills desired:
· Comfortable in a fast paced environment
· Proven ability to deliver results in a complex, large development
projects
· Effective and efficient time management and problem solving skills
· Ability to influence others in support for a common goal
· Ability to translate business requirements into a technical
design that can be understood and implemented by a cross functional team
· Strong team contribution and interaction; positive team member
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Able to take several assignments at the same time and manage
development activities according to priorities and schedules
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
