CCIE- Network Engineer
Needs to be a well-rounded CCIE... so experience in Route/Switch, Voice,
Wireless,
and Security. Ideally someone with both Architecture experience and
Implementation
experience.
Responsibilities:
* Team lead on various network projects including design, implementation and
troubleshooting.
* Provide 3rd level troubleshooting.
* Design, setup, and implement VPN and WAN solutions.
* Test/Update IPS signature sets as they are released by Cisco.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
* Perform network infrastructure upgrades and routine hardware configuration.
Required Technology Skills:
* Cisco routers - 2900 and 3900 series.
Cisco UCS
* Thorough understanding of the following routing protocols: BGP, OSPF.
* Experience with QOS.
* Cisco switches - IOS - 6500 series, 4500 series, 2960 series.
* Security: Cisco ASA firewalls, NAC, VPN, CSM, IPS, ACS and VPN.
* Wireless: Cisco Wireless Controllers and APs, Motorola
* Network Applications - Solarwinds, Netflow, Wireshark, Cisco Security
Manager,
Kiwi CatTools,
* Circuits - MPLS, ISDN (BRI,PRI), T1, and T3, Ethernet
* Other protocols: HSRP, ICMP, tcp/udp, MPLS, SIP/SDP, H323, STP, MGCP, SRST.
* Cisco CUCM, Unity, CUPS.
