*Manager Notes:* Client is looking for a relatively junior PM (more of a senior project coordinator) to help them with certain activities related to an EBS implementation. Focus is on the Service Management aspect business functionality and associated integrations. The person will need to have a decent level of functional acumen since there is business analysis and requirements work to be done and also have basic coordination type abilities.
*Title: Siebel R12 Project Manager/Coordinator* *Location: San Jose, CA* *Duration: 6-12 months+* *Description:* The Services Siebel / Oracle EBS R12 Program Manager within Client’s Business Operations will manage the move to Siebel / EBS R12 project for Services ensuring the business requirements are met, lead business process improvements and data clean-up and drive alignment with IT and other internal functions. The individual will need to work across all operating levels, from detail data analysis to developing relevant operations and strategic recommendations for the organization enabling Polycom’s continued services growth, aligned to product and technology expansion. *Qualifications* • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Computer Science or related field. MBA Preferred. • 10+ years’ experience directly managing and delivering high visibility, high value, complex process improvement projects within business operations and/or Services related functions. • Oracle eBusiness Suite knowledge in a services environment. Experience in R12 specifically a plus and/or knowledge of Siebel CRM. • Ability to rapidly establish command of the operating environment and identify key interdependencies and decisions required for program success. • Ability to work collaboratively and independently and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines. Demonstrated experience managing diverse functions within a global service matrix organization. • Ability to work in large, complex and matrixed organization. • Excellent oral and written skills required for conducting presentations and negotiating with all levels of personnel. • Background with audio and video conferencing technologies a plus. • A high level of self-sufficiency *Major Responsibilities * • Understand current system portfolio and functional requirements from the project team and ensure these are addressed and met by a combination of EBS R12 and Siebel functionality. • Represent Services requirements and interdependencies in cross-functional systems/process programs and discussions. • Own Services interface with IT and System Integrator (Deloitte) for requirements, consultation and project/resource prioritization for Siebel / EBS R12. • Participate in the functional and design reviews of strategic requirements. Actively participate in identifying system alternatives and solutions. • Define blueprint for Services Applications and maintain gap analysis. • Define and optimize business processes around implementation and other potential application changes and capability map. • Identify tools and standards in world class services organizations. Monitor trends in the industry and identify adjustments to the roadmap. • Plan for system functions and capacities to enable PGS growth over next 1-3 years with Siebel/EBS R12 module capabilities • Communicate business decisions, plans, goals, priorities and strategies at all levels of the organization/corporation. • Research and leverage industry best practices in solution approaches, including architecture practices and data management.
