Please send me the available profiles for the below mentioned position Job Title: Ab Initio developer Location: Richmond, VA Duration: 12 Months *Job Description:* Perform as lead developer and designer on software development and maintenance projects with responsibility for overall delivery of software components. Participate in architectural decisions, technical design and implementation of application systems. Work with architects, analysts, development team, and testing to implement enhancements or new applications. Perform coding, unit and/or system testing, and document changes in alignment with the desired results. Direct the work of junior application designers, developers and QA teams. Ensure project delivery timelines, quality, cost and architectural alignment. *Responsibilities:* • Design large or complex projects involving application development, migrations and enhancement to existing applications • Responsible for detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. • Assess and develop high level design requirements and incorporate them in detailed design and process flow diagrams • Assess detailed technical specifications against design requirements • Ensure compliance of overall design with the enterprise development standards. Guide other developers on technical issues • Perform coding and Unit testing work • Support the system testing and integration testing activities • Support the production rollout and validation activities • Serve as principle developer in large complex projects or enhancements • Perform troubleshooting, correct issues, and provide technical support to applications currently in production • Mentor, guide and/or direct work of less experienced programming and development staff • Participate in code and documentation reviews for its correctness and standards *Basic/Minimum Qualifications:* • Bachelor’s Degree • 5 years of experience in Software Development and Support • 3 Years’ experience in Application Design & Development using ETL, SQL, and Unix Scripting • 3 year experience in Ab Initio ETL Development • Strong understanding of ETL Design concepts • Knowledge of Job Scheduling in at least one tool *Preferred Qualifications:* • Experience with Java, MVS/COBOL, Oracle PL/SQL, Hadoop or Mongo DB • Experience with the Teradata and/or DB2 database platforms • 6-8 Years of IT experience in developing & designing Data warehousing applications • Strong communication skills • Experience in designing and developing complex data warehouse and/or ETL applications • Familiar with practices for alignment of solutions to enterprise and industry data standards and best practices • Comfortable providing technical leadership • Agile delivery experience Thanks & Regards *Kumar* Pyramid Consulting, Inc.
