Position requires travel and working remotely at client locations such as Boston, Vermont as needed. . Top responsibilities for this position: Resources will be a experienced resources on the team with responsibilities that span across designing, developing and testing healthcare software applications to support HIX projects. Resources will work with system analysts to flesh out project requirements and help design high-level system specifications, as well as work with QA resources to assist with test prep and test execution. . What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? · 5+years development experience with Java, JavaScript, Spring, JSP, & Oracle · 5+ years development experience with J2EE application servers WebLogic, JBoss or WebSphere Hands on experience with JEE application deployment technology. · Thorough knowledge with JEE application platform configuration and performance optimization Hands-on development experience using Java, oracle software stack · Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment. · Healthcare Payer domain expertise is highly desirable · Ability to work in a team along with remote teams a plus. Ability to work in multi vendor, multi stakeholder enviroment a plus Strong communication to interface with business and other stakeholders a plus What skills/attributes are nice to have? · Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications, · Client facing - demonstrated strong communication skills Prior HIX project Experience a plus *2. REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* Position: Data Analyst with financial background Location: Owings Mills, MD Duration: 6+months Rate: $50 to $55/hr on c2c all incl. Interview- Phone screen followed by f2f The candidate will be responsible for performing deep level analysis of data across many systems through a structured process of inspecting, cleaning, transforming and modeling data with the goal of discovering required information, suggesting conclusions and supporting decision making for ensuring complete and accurate data required for regulatory reporting. Should be familiar enough with ETL to develop single-use maps to prepopulate data as required. UI work is related to working with business users in designing new screens to access their data. Strong skills in Databases are required, especially advanced SQL, data modeling and data mining. Similarly strong understanding of the Finance domain is required, with deep knowledge of all asset classes and key concepts related to allocating and aggregating transactions and positions as well as entity and account structures. The candidate needs to be willing to work in a fast paced environment dealing with high data volumes, aggressive regulatory SLAs and follow an agile development methodology.
