*Title: Business Analyst – Equities Surveillance* *Location: Manhattan, NY* *Duration: 6-12 month contract* *Rate: Day C2C* *MUST BE LOCAL FOR A FACE TO FACE* Description: *Main Function* Business analysis for Equities Surveillance projects within Compliance IT. *Main Duties* • Gather, analyze, validate and manage business requirements • Produce clear requirements specification documents using a structured analysis methodology. Use data modeling techniques where appropriate. • Assistance in the creation of technical specification for on-shore and off-shore technical teams. • Analyze the data from upstream systems for correctness and completeness. • Formulate and produce test plans and test cases. Be involved in the various phases of testing to support development, to interrogate data during functionality testing, and to co-ordinate users and IT teams to achieve successful testing phases and quality assurance. • Liaise with relevant project stakeholders within the Compliance business function and other technology teams Person Requirements Minimum 7-10 years of Business analysis (requirements gathering and validation, specification development, data analysis, test design and execution) using structured methods or a recognized methodology. • Experience with full Systems Development Lifecycle. • Strong data analysis skills. • Business analysis skills. • Advanced SQL skills.
