*Description:* Business Analyst role - working on a dedicated project to deliver Capacity Management and Infrastructure Workload Placement capabilities to the organization. Responsibilities include interacting with multiple teams (Capacity Management, Server, Database and Storage Operations, Engineering & Architecture) to plan, design & document concepts, create charts and process flow diagrams to be presented to senior management seeking tollgate approvals, participate in proof of concept builds and testing of potential solutions, work with teams implementing the chosen solution into production and transition to business as usual (BAU) operations. Ability to analyze a complex problem and identify potential solutions by exploring and analyzing diverse alternatives, including, where applicable, risks and potential business impact. Ability to make the right decisions based on the necessary information and to take measures accordingly. - Documentation representing the scope, challenges, key decision points, agreements, and ultimate solutions for each phase of the project lifecycle (plan, build, deploy and operate). - Process flow flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, RACI roles & responsibilities. - New requirements management process. - Reporting prototypes and KPIs to facilitate capacity & workload analysis - Provides clear project vision and direction across teams - Builds commitments across teams to achieve goals & deliverables - Provides support and motivation for others, helping to ensure goals are achieved - ITIL v3 foundations certified (minimum), with and emphasis on Capacity and Performance Management - Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics and how to identify bottlenecks and optimize workflow - Experienced technical writer - Experienced designing visual process diagrams (SIPOC, Swim Lanes, Flow Charts, etc) - Experience creating and delivering presentations with impact. - Team player with strong communication skills - Ability to manage a large scope of work, prioritize effectively and deliver under time pressure - To set high targets/objectives for self and department. Is influential in reaching targets. Prefers to take the initiative than to stay passive if events happen. Committed to improving productivity. Unwilling to accept average performance. - Tries to be above the requested performance. Takes personal responsibility to make the right things happen.
