*Irvine, CA with 30% travel to South Carolina (expenses paid)* *Duration – 6 months* *Type of Project – Implementation of Service Management/Project Systems for a large business division* *Rate –Open* *Start date – Immediate* *Highly prefer US Citizen or Green Card* *Position Summary:* The SAP Business Objects Consultant is responsible for understanding the business, functional and customer requirements to analyze, design, and build reporting solutions. *Primary Roles/Responsibilities: * • Work with the project team to understand and document reporting requirements • Design a reporting strategy based on the business needs and best practices • Build and deliver reports • Test and train users *Required Experience: * • 8+ years’ design and implementation experience with SAP Business Objects BI Product Suite • Knowledge of business intelligence best practice processes, tools, standards and practices • Strong analytical and conceptual design skills • Strong problem-solving skills • Experience in development of reporting and analytics business capabilities, strategy and roadmap • Demonstrated competency in accurately identifying the scope of work and preparing thorough, accurate and detailed schedule estimates • Data Warehouse and Metadata Management using Business Objects and Crystal reporting. • 3+ years experience in analysis, technical design and development. • Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to follow established development methodology. • Good verbal and written English communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in terms less technical people can understand. • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team environment. *Nice to have: * • Experience with Service Management or Plant Maintenance • Experience with Project Systems • Experience in the Engineering and Construction industry Let me now if you need any other information on this.
