Includes leading the analysis and documentation of business and system requirements. · Conducts research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and develops formal recommendations to management. · Participates in the Enterprise Architecture program. This may involve providing input as to how data is created, stored and used (re?used) as it relates to our business processes. · May use project management and program management methodologies to support a systems development methodology to meet project deliverables. May be responsible for instructing, directing, mentoring, and checking the work of other business systems analysts. Plans, conducts and may supervise assignments. BA and Test Lead on business strategic initiatives and projects for front office, accounting derivatives and performance measurement and attribution systems and critical regulatory mandates. Lead and participated in the creation of project classification and implementation process to facilitate organizational objectives, defining roles and responsibilities across variousorganizational groups, creating and standardizing business analyst processes, templates, techniques and career progression and acquire stakeholder buy in for these initiatives · Defined and executed project approach, performed project cost-benefit analysis, coordinated with and was the point of contact for multiple user, vendor and system groups · Identified and helped mitigate project risks and gaps, created and presented metrics and status to the sponsors, stakeholders and senior management to facilitate decisions on businessstrategic global projects · Lead several complex projects and provided support for business critical systems like QSAAP, PAM for Investments, Murex, Pyramid, Eagle PACE and regulatory mandates · Lead the System Test and User Acceptance Test Phases for projects, defining, creating and executing the test strategy and test cases, supporting model validation and the environment set ups and production roll outs · Elicited, created and presented various SDLC documents like Business Requirement Documentation, Functional and Nonfunctional Specifications, Data Mapping and Transformation Logicand Use Cases for projects. Participated in design and architecture discussions ensuring that the business needs were accurately reflected in the technical implementation · Defined business workflow and processes utilizing the concepts of Lean and Six Sigma · Instrumental in helping define and roll out the waterfall and iterative SDLC process and metrics for projects in the division · Supervised and evaluated performance objectives for business analysts, mentored them to meet their development and project goals and was involved in the hiring process · Managed project resource allocation, utilization and estimation on projects and business as usual activities Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience, preferably in IT or a business area discipline (i.e. accounting, investments, or marketing). Minimum of 8 or more years of experience in business systems analysis. 2-4 years of industry experience also preferred.
