*Responsibilities:*
The Vehicle Management development team is responsible for
business applications ranging from buying, maintaining and selling over
1,000,000 vehicles. Flexible work arrangements are available along with
the opportunity to work on various Vehicle Management business
applications. The Senior Software Engineer will be part of a project team
which is responsible for all phases of an agile-like software development
lifecycle (SDLC). Mentor less experienced Software Engineers.
o Develops prototypes and performs application coding and programming
o Interprets end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify
technical design specifications for off-the-shelf and/or custom-developed
applications
o Analyzes and reviews software requirements to determine feasibility of
a design within time and cost restraints
o Performs unit and integration testing and assists with developing unit
tests
o Conducts code reviews
o Mentor less experienced Software Engineers.
*Technical Environment:*
o Three tier web applications
o Android and iOS mobility applications
o Service Oriented Architecture
o Cloud technology
o MVVM architecture pattern
*Qualifications:*
o Possess a computer technology related Bachelor's degree
o 3+ years of Java/J2EE/JUnit
o Working knowledge in Github, JIRA, Maven and Jenkins a plus
o Knowledge of Android and/or iOS SDK is a plus
o Working knowledge of MVVM architecture a plus
o 2+ years of HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript
o 2+ years of Oracle
o 2+ years experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Web Services
o SOA and AOP experience is a plus
o Design Patterns experience is a plus
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
