Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Performance Tester {JMeter} *Project Location* Rolling Meadows, IL *Duration* 12 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:-Telephonic+Skype * *NEED USC OR GC ONLY* High-level: • We will turn-over the JMeter scripts for existing applications that are already developed by another vendor. The resource should be able to pick them up and run with it (similar to a new developer when he/she is given access to the code base). The load test engineer should be completely independent in terms of owning, modifying, installing, configuring the scripts and the load tests with the underlying architecture. • In future, design the load test architecture and the scripts for new applications. • The only dependency on HMH should be the knowledge of the application and creation of test data. • Effective and efficient communication. Detail: 1) JMeter – a. Install the appropriate version of JMeter associated with the JMeter script b. Install all necessary libraries, drivers, config files, etc. to setup and run JMeter Script c. Ability to run JMeter scripts d. Engineer should also be able to maintain and make minor modifications to global vars, URL’s, etc. to update script to reflect App changes. 2) Performance Tests – a. Engineer should have a good understanding of the various parts of Web Apps and the architecture b. Engineer should be able to interpret PerfMon logs from Server Monitoring c. Engineer should be able to report on findings from PerfMon logs d. Knowledge of SQL Profile trace logs 3) Communication – a. Engineer should be able to clearly explain results from performance runs b. Engineer should also be able to offer recommendations based on results from performance runs. c. Engineer should be able to follow-up with team members via email, IM, face-to-face, to make sure they are meeting requirements. 4) Following Instructions – a. When the Engineer is instructed to install tools and apps required to perform tasks, he/she should follow-through and perform tasks b. When asked to provide detailed analysis of performance runs, they should execute task(s) and follow-up with team. 5) Take Initiative – a. Engineer should be able to acquire necessary tools to perform required tasks. b.
