This position is responsible for performing and overseeing the functional and detailed requirement development, code development, joint application development (JAD) sessions, functional and detailed design, business and workflow process modeling and business reengineering. This position is also responsible for developing the detailed project plan, work breakdown structures, project checklists, staffing plan and budgets to meet the divisions established timeframes. *Responsibilities* · Coordinate project activities for adherence to project plan & goals; · Monitor results against established timelines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies and associated technical specifications; · Prepare comprehensive supporting plans in the areas of quality control, risk management, change management, testing & other associated project management areas; · Manage project development process to include monitoring project scope & change control processes; · Perform work in association with industry recognized standards, guidelines & practices; · Adhere to established policy and procedures with respect to project management methodology, quality assurance and other related standards · Report the projects status to the state & local stakeholders and management as required. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:* *Required:* · Extremely strong in analyzing Visual FoxPro applications and developing the requirements for the uplift · Ability to plan and estimate a technology uplift project · Minimum of (5) five years of experience in applications development and database design using Visual FoxPro · Minimum of (2) two years of experience in n-tier client/server systems · Minimum of (5) five years of experience in performing IT project management tasks activities · In-depth knowledge and understanding of Web Service standards (SOAP, UDDI, and WSDL), graphical UI development experience, network operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows 7, OS365, Enterprise Active Directory (EAD), Windows Server 2003 and above, and Novell · Thorough knowledge of the principles of application systems development and its associated lifecycle · Ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet tight deadlines · Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills *Preferred:* · Advanced technical skills and significant experience in enhancing client/server and web sites using programming techniques and languages such as Visual FoxPro, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio .NET, ASP, Visual Studio v6.0 and above, VB, SQL, ODBC/OLE DB data access to MS SQL Server, Visual FoxPro tables, ACCESS databases, etc. as well as web-related technologies (including XML, HTML, CSS, VBScript, JavaScript, and IIS). · Experience in the field of accounting. · Knowledge of and experience working with Subversion *Thanks and Regards* James | Talent Acquisition - Manager | V.L.S Systems Inc.
