Thanks.!!! *Job Description: 037531: Network Administrator* *Location: Rancho Cordova, CA* *Duration: 7 months+* *Rate: $50/hr. on C2C* Skills Required: MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED • Knowledgeable of Cisco network routers, switches, load balancer. • Knowledgeable of Cisco firewall technologies. • Knowledgeable of Layer2 protocols including but not limited to Spanning Tree, VLAN tagging and Link Aggregations protocols. • Knowledgeable on QoS strategies, configurations and troubleshooting. • Knowledgeable of network communications of SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, PING, TRACEROUTE, and Microsoft Active Directory • Knowledgeable of TCP/IP protocol. • Knowledgeable of security practices and tactics and system hardening procedures for Cisco devices • Ability to trouble-shoot TCP/IP communications through statefull firewalls. • Ability to work cross functionally in a positive and supportive manner with internal and external teams and customers. • Ability to assess complex problems and situations and make sound decisions. • Ability to initiate, manage and complete new projects with minimal direction and guidance, and conduct them through a project life cycle which includes requirements analysis, design, planning, evaluation, implementation, and formal presentations. • Ability to present technical information and convey knowledge to peers and customers. • Ability to work afterhours and over weekends when required. Education and Experience Required – MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED • 5+ years’ experience in network communications with a strong emphasis on trouble-shooting local and wide-area connectivity at network packet layer. • Must be experienced with Cisco routers, switches and firewalls. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Optional Skills: • Knowledge of Palo Alto Network devices a plus.
