*Job Description:-* We are currently seeking an experienced Cognos Developer to work either in Eden Prairie, MN or Hartford, CT *Skills Needed * • The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for reviewing and understanding preliminary designs and technical documents, with occasional authoring. • Demonstrates advanced level of understanding and application of general systems concepts and their integration with business problem resolution • Provides technical team support for the design and development roles. • Advanced assigned to difficult, complex, and vital analysis and design tasks associated with multiple, large systems projects. • Advanced resource on one or more development environments or programming languages. • Able to schedule, assign, direct, review and perform related follow-up and work coordination activities with others on the technical team. • Liaison with clients or other systems areas involving complex problem solving is a significant element of work. • Provides significant input to establishment of protocols, tools and systems investments. • Occasional consultation with company senior leaders and/or outside vendors on complex issues having impact across Health Care Company organization entities or involving large financial investments. *Specific Qualifications * • 4-5+ years extensive experience in complex, cross departmental projects involving multiple platforms • Minimum 4-5 or more years work experience in Business Intelligence development. • Expert skill and knowledge in the IBM Cognos toolset; including but not limited to Framework Manager, Report Studio and Transformer. • IBM Cognos C10 experience preferred; working knowledge of IBM Cognos SDK is a bonus. • Strong SQL skills required. • Coding experience with JavaScript, HTML, Visual Basic, .NET, and/or C-Sharp preferred. *Thanks * Sudhir Dubey United Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
