REQUIREMENT DETAILS* *Position: Sr. BA with Capital Markets Experience * *Location: Washington, DC * *Interview: Skype Hire* *Duration: Long Term* Looking for a Sr. Level BA with Fixed Income Trading and Money Market experience for a project Senior-level business analyst with extensive experience in the Capital Market, Fixed Income Trading and Money Markets, Treasury Operations, Banking, Cash Management, and Accounting domain. *REQUIRED SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* -5-7yrs experience as a Business Analyst -Experience with Capital Markets, Fixed Income Trading, Cash Management Domains -Experience with Summit, POMs, and Bloomberg AIM are highly preferred -The contractor will work with a number of applications and tools including order management platforms/trade capture applications, cash management and payment systems, accounting systems, and data warehouses/repositories. -They should also demonstrate an understanding of the needs of these types of applications as well as possess the ability to quickly learn new applications -The individuals serving in this role require prior successful experience in working within a matrix organization. -They provide constructive feedback to team members as it pertains to overall performance -They are also expected to provide the highest level of expertise in the application of the tools and techniques of the business analyst discipline, and of the software development life cycle (SDLC). -Interface with the business client to understand business needs and requirements, and to help develop and maintain the client relationship. -Document business and IT processes and workflows. -Evaluate applications and IT environments, and analyze gaps between current and desired states. -Propose recommendations based on industry best practices. -Collaborate with IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are feasible to meet business requirements. -Participate in the evaluation of new products or initiatives to determine technology support required. -Assist in crafting business cases that lead to initiative funding through a rigorous governance process. -Lead the collection, analysis, documentation and coordination of detailed requirements by working with trading solutions and operations teams. -Design and execute test cases for application development and implementation projects ensure complete requirements traceability. -Provide overall support to ensure the successful design, testing and implementation of applications that support the asset management business line. -Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software, analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action; consult with key stakeholders in resolution of problems. -Compose training documentation and conduct training on the use of trading systems and processes. -Responsible for overall success of user acceptance testing, including results verification and release. -Document and manage open issues and assist in planning for resolution for complex projects. *2. REQUIREMENT DETAILS* *Position: Data Architect/Modeler * *Location: Washington, DC * *Rate: $67/hr C2C * *Interview: Skype* *Duration: Long Term * *REQUIRED SKILLS:* -Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Science or Statistics or other data intensive discipline. -Strong communication skills (written and oral). -Experience facilitating issue resolution sessions. -At least four (4) years of experience in data modeling and/or data analysis. -Ability to describe data mapping and data migration techniques. -Demonstrated hands-on experience developing Entity Relationship Models and Data Flow Diagrams. -Ability to export lists of data elements from Erwin Models. -Ability to extract lists of included data elements from Informatica PowerCenter ETL feeds and databases leveraging PL/SQL. -Demonstrated hands-on experience in analyzing large databases. -Competent in office technology tools with advanced Excel and Access skills. -Data mining skills (including data auditing, aggregation, validation and reconciliation) are a plus. -Direct experience and/or knowledge of Informatica Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) are a plus. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* -Develop and product analysis, recommendations and reports identifying all data elements and their associated systems and all data elements that are Left Behind. -For all data that is classified as Left Behind, work directly with Project Teams to determine appropriate system ownership; and or to officially label the data as To be Retired. -Work under the direction of the Data Architecture Beam Lead and the Information Management/ Governance Beam Lead. -Participate in strategic discussions about how to meet No Data Left Behind objectives. -Take the lead in addressing objectives #1 (identification of data), #2 (development of a skeleton data model), #4 (collection of documentation and development of new documentation), and #5 (centralized capture of prioritized metadata). -Serve as the focal point with Project Teams for the collection of all No Data Left Behind research/analysis. Project teams include ODS Re-engineering.
