Required Skills: Must Have: 1. JVM, and other monitoring tools 2. Deployment and continuous integration experience 3. Windows, Unix environment experience. Linux a plus 4. Web technology – High level understanding of how web environments work 5. IBM HTTP Server experience 6. Responsibilities: · Implement and support Middleware infrastructure solutions to support project needs. Participate in all phases of engineering life cycle to ensure consistent approaches in the technical design across projects/programs. Implement systems changes into production environment following change control methodology. · Automate processes using scripts and automation tools · Work effectively in a cross-functional team; capable of receiving work direction from direct and indirect leadership. · Review existing systems and recommend changes enhancements to technology as appropriate, to improve efficiency and total cost. · Create and maintain technical documentation on systems and applications to ensure efficient planning and execution of work. Preferred Qualifications: · Ability to dialogue effectively with IT stakeholders, quality assurance, and application development teams to implement applications and business solutions · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Experience with MQ and Web SEAL a plus · Knowledge in Java based web application development, or shell scripting a plus · Comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities.
