*Position: QA Manager or QA PM*

*Location: St Louis, MO*

*Duration: 3+ months*



*Essential Functions of the Role*

•        Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects,
defect counts, test results and test status

•        Should have laid out testing processes in place and helped company
to build testing practices.

•        Should have Managerial experience but also should stay on the
ground.

•        Should have handled offshore.

•        QC experience.

•        As a senior member/manager he should be able to handle both
automation and manual.

•        Produces executive level reports for projects and department
specific metrics

•        Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and
improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the
business needs

•        Documents all problems and assists in their resolution

•        Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as
an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical
partners

•        Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure
quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.

•        Gathers, refines and validates complex business requirements,
interdependencies, potential risks and issues to translate them into test
artifacts, including detailed test cases

•        Assists in the business process design or redesign and
documentation as needed

•        Knowledge and experience in understanding, documenting, and
training on SDLC and the Test Life Cycle processes

•        Experience working with external teams to mentor them and coach
them in QA and Test best practices

•        Project coordination/Project management experience

•        Knowledge and experience performing analysis, forecasting, and
reporting on resource/staffing demand

•        Perform traceability of requirements to test cases

•        Track, monitor, and approve code releases into test environments

*Minimum Qualifications*

•        10+ years system development, testing, business analysis experience

*Education, Certification*

•        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
other related field or equivalent work experience

•        Testing, Quality Assurance, Project Management and/or BA
certification is a preferred

•        Experience working with HP Test Tools Suite is preferred
