Responsibilities / Job Description:

§  Create and modify ServiceNow platform and IT Service Management
applications to meet customer defined needs

§  Understands technical and functional design requirements related to
ServiceNow

§  Translation of business requirements into functional specifications and
involve offshore team for development work (Onsite/Offshore model)

§  Re-engineer highly complex program components including code generation

§  Understands the ServiceNow workflow engines

§  Creates workflow and web prototypes for client engagements

§  Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions

§  Responsible for design, development, test and rollout of the following
modules and related customization for ServiceNow:

-       Incident Management

-       Problem Management

-       Change Management

-       Configuration (CMDB)

-       Knowledge Management

-       Asset Management

-       Service Level Management

-       Service Level Reporting

-       Service Request Management

-       IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Management

-       Reporting

§  ServiceNow discovery configuration, customization and implementation

§  Integration with Email, SMS, third party reporting and event monitoring
tool

§  Provide technical leadership within a team of developers or play a key
part in big teams

§  Supporting users and customers of the ServiceNow product, bugfixing,
Javascripting, extensive and in-depth application support, providing the
best possible customer support.

§  End-to end responsibility of technical deliverables with Sign-off from
the customer

§  Take decisions independently and interact directly with customers

§  Conduct workshops/trainings for various modules

§  Handle multiple priorities, develop and deliver cost/time-effective
solutions

Skillsets:



§  Extensive experience implementing ServiceNow modules and platform
consulting in the role of architect and developer

§  Develop and maintain the application architecture for specific business
functional areas in compliance with the enterprise architecture

§  Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards

§  Experience in the management of all phases of the application lifecycle
and best practices of software design within a large organization. This
includes Design, Installation, Development, Testing (application code and
user acceptance), and Deployment.

§  Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow Integration solution
with Email, SMS, Alerts and other third party tools

§  Exposure to various business domains and functional areas

§  Experience in providing technical leadership and ability to manage large
teams in offshore /onsite model

§  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and
oral, and ability to interact with internal / external multiple stake
holders

§  ITSM/ITIL / ServiceNow Admin certification is desirable

§  Excellent problem solving skills

§  Skills in ServiceNow, Web Services, SOAP, Java, Javascript, XML, Content
Management, HTML
