Role Functional Consultant (JDA TMS)
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills * TMS Domain Knowledge - Rich of Logistics/Transportation domain knowledge/concepts - Shipment order cycles from order to financial settlement * JDA TMS - product master set up/configuration/integration/ implementation/roll out for large size engamgents inclusive of carrier's bidding & tendering and suppliers collaboration for order readiness & effective shipment resource planning * Optimization concepts - TL/LTL, ocean, Air, Backhaul, Consolidation, in-transit grouping, hub modelling, dock scheduling, green modelling * Conducting Business workshops/requirement gathering/functional design/Business Users Transition/Training Roles and responsibility * Working with business to come up with detailed requirement document by analyzing three dimensions of existing transportation processes, opportunities for simulation, optimization & automation and JDA TMS product capabilities * Creating functional design document including data model, configuration parameters and attributes/fields identified * Settting up configuration parameters with right sets of values to make transportation processes tuned to work correctly * Need to verify developed/deployed Transportation or Logistics functionalities work as expected on JDA TMS platform for both UI and batches Desirable Technical / Functional Skills • Status reporting periodically and accurately. • Ability to communicate the ideas effectively and come up with innovative solutions for given problematic scenario or situations for logistics/ transportation business domain. • Ability to work under pressure . • Identify and highlight a risk along with mitigation plan • Client interaction skills Work Location Deerfield IL Duration 9 Months *Thanks & Regards* *Hemendra Kumar* Insigma Inc | 1920 Association Drive Suite # 302, Reston, VA 20191 Phone: 703-468-3024 I Email: [email protected] ABOUT THIS E-MAIL: The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
