The team is responsible for producing a business critical data acquisition platform to meet scalability, stability and performance requirements for a new strategic risk platform. The requirement spans a wide variety of products including all varieties of interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, equity swaps, FX futures and options, Commodities futures and options, and others. Candidate will design and implement subsystems for data acquisition, content validation and enhancement, and data reconciliation with the source systems. The data is used to compute risk and P&L across the entire real and hypothetical trade population for XVA analysis, and it must be guaranteed to be accurate and reliable and timely. Qualifications Skills Required ? Core Java, Spring and Multi-threading. ? Object oriented analysis and common design patterns. ? Experience with full software development life cycle. ? Excellent knowledge of Relational data bases and SQL, DB2 or Sybase. Skills Desired ? Exposure to functional programming such as Scala. ? Familiarity with Jenkins and Maven/GIT. ? Exposure to financial products and risk management. ? Exposure to counterparty risk, margining, collateral or confirmation systems. ? Project lead experience involving both local and offshore development teams strongly desired.
