*Fronted Developer OR Ext JS Developer*- Boston, MA Location: Boston, MA Contract Length: 6-12 months (re-evaluate the contract at the end of the year) Interview: Phone screen followed by F2F is preferred, if they are not local, Skype is a second option. Front-end Developer position for Putnam Investments on site in Boston for the ISD group, which services Investment Management Technology. Some of the applications these teams work on are equity research, equity trading, investment data/security reference data, portfolio attribution, portfolio management, asset allocation, etc. This candidate needs to be nearly an expert with hands on experience using JavaScript, ideally using ExtJS and Sencha. Must have strong understanding of UI design principles, object oriented analysis and development, ability to create pixel perfect cross-browser compatible web pages using JavaScript framework and technologies. Ability to develop on the service layer (integration of front end to middle-tier/back-end) on a Java based web application is also highly preferred. *Key Responsibilities: * · Collaborate with business analysts and designers in the enhancement of an existing web application.
