Please go through the job description and send me your resume if you are interested so that I can arrange a call with our EVP and VP.* *.NET Tech Lead* *West Chester, PA * *Contract until end of 2015 (strong chance for extensions)* *Phone and face to face* *Project Summary:* Provide .NET Development and project end-to-end leadership for HIC Tech Tools (Home Integrated Check) application, a stand-alone enterprise customer service, and set-top box diagnostics tool used by Technicians and customers. Resource will be responsible for the design, development, coordination, and deployment of application. *Technology requirements:* ASP.NET MVC, C#, Multi-tier development, WCF, RESTful and SOAP web services, SQL Server 2012, dependency injections, jquery, widget based architecture. *Core Responsibilities:* -Design, Develop, Support, Document applications owned by Desktop Application Team and maintain diagrams for application, systems, processes, interfaces etc. -Collaborate with business and technology partners and guide implementation teams towards a common architectural vision. -Serve as the primary technical architecture contact with clients and act as mentor for colleagues with less experience. -Own the end-to-end technical design for initiatives in close partnership with the development, testing, operations, and data team leaders. -Perform analysis of user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper requirement specifications. -Assists in the planning and design of new or upgraded systems. Interacts with departments to implement improvements in process. -Identifies opportunities for improvement in the application and recommends course of action. -Advocate and implement automation across wherever opportunities for efficiency are identified. -Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. *Qualifications: * - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent. - 7-10 years related experience enterprise class application and services development and design in web platform. - 3-5 years related experience supporting and designing architectures but not limited to Microsoft Technologies. - 3-5 years related experience designing, developing, and managing cross platform jobs. - 3-5 years of experience in managing medium to big code bases. - 4-7 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing enterprise applications using .NET, WCF ,Entity Framework, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC (currently using MVC 5) and SQL Server (version 2008, 2012, 2014 etc.). - Ability to extrapolate the problem and solution by using the most appropriate design and architecture - Strong knowledge of UML and related tools. - Experience in troubleshooting production issues and triaging issues on conference bridge with cross functional technical and non-technical stake holders. - Experience in implementing Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration tools. (Preferred tools: TeamCity, Octopus Deploy) - Experience in developing NoSQL based solutions using technologies like Couchbase and/or MongoDB. - Experience with related industry frameworks and methodologies including waterfall, iterative, agile and SCRUM. - Experience in using and developing JavaScript based frameworks such as JQuery; (Nice to have: DOJO, Knockout and AngularJS) - Strong knowledge of XML,SOAP,HTTP and other network protocols. - Ability to prototype solutions using JQuery, Node.js, or ASP.NET. - Ability to learn and adopt to latest trends and technologies. - Experience with offshore/on-site team coordination and collaboration. - (Desirable to have experience/awareness of DevOps) - (Desirable to have experience/awareness of Bootstrap) - Should have excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills - Must be a team player - Must have “can do” /”will do” attitude Dee Bhandari- Sr. Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
