- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems (or related field), or equivalent training. - *At least five years experience *with a variety of operating systems, protocols and tools. Other desirable qualifications; - Knowledge of *Enterprise Integration Architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) strategies, solutions and standards (e.g. XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON) * - Experience with *Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) based integration architecture * - Experience with a variety of *application and integration server platforms e.g. WebLogic Server, IBM WebSphere, Tibco, Apache, Tomcat etc * - Experience developing in a secure web services environment using SSL, encryption, authentication and in particular Web Services security specs (WS*) - Experience with XML gateways e.g. Layer7, IBM Data Power etc - Java development skills including Java Enterprise Edition, Java Connector Architecture (JCA) and Java Messaging Service (JMS) - Superior troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities - Experience with Linux/Unix command line and scripting - Understanding of Web technologies and interfaces to Unix/NT client/server systems. - Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and has ability to effectively coach and mentor others.
