Hope you are doing great… *Job Title:** Java Developer* *Requisition ID: 20711* *Duration: 6+ (Extendable)* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94089* Face to face interview required: YES Candidates must be local: YES · Java, Spring, REST and Hadoop experience is must · A highly experienced analytics engineer with experience of working with large-scale, distributed data pipelines. · Responsibilities span the full data engineering lifecycle from architecture and design, data analysis, software development, QA, capacity planning and managing the analytics environment as a whole. *Responsibilities: * · Build distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in real-time. · Collaborate with other teams to design and develop data tools that support both X1 operations and product use cases. · Perform offline analysis of large data sets using components from the Hadoop ecosystem. · Evaluate and advise on technical aspects of open work requests in the product backlog with the project lead. · Own product features from the development phase through to production deployment. Evaluate big data technologies and prototype solutions to improve our data processing architecture. Technologies that we use include: · Java Hadoop / MapReduce Flume Storm KafkaMem SQL Pig Hive Splunk Maven Git *Qualifications:* · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. · Strong programming skills in Java. Experience with Python and Scala is a plus. · Experience developing scalable, distributed systems. · In particular, experience developing solutions with big data technologies like Hadoop, Flume, Storm, Kafka, and Spark is a plus. · Experience with MapReduce and/or stream processing solutions like Storm or Spark Streaming. Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL).Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus. · Ability to learn new technologies quickly and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
